Expand Your Network With a Social Book Club

Are you someone who loves to read and would like to find someone to discuss it with? Perhaps you've just finished your book and are looking for another great read? Want to read a new author or book? Whatever your motive, social book clubs are a great way to connect with others all around the world. Goodreads, a personal favorite of mine, allows you to browse books, create a digital bookshelf, and join a group. There are many great and diverse groups to join or start your own group to meet others and share your ideas.

If you are finding your home overrun with books you'll never read again, have you thought about swapping books? BookMooch and PaperBack Swap are two awesome websites to check out; among these other sites to explore.

Not interested in online book clubs? Not a problem. Find a book club in your area by visiting Meetup.com ~ a free site dedicated to helping others meet new people and try new things in their community. I've been an avid member of Meetup.com for many years and have met some really great people. There are so many groups to choose from you are sure to find a few meetups to attend.

What are you reading right now? Share some of your favorite books with me.
